As a painter, Guy had his first solo exhibition in 1958 at the Parisian Gallery Le Soleil dans la Tête, and showed with Enrico Baj, Corneille, Huntertwasser, Unica Zürn, Rancillac, Max Bucaille, Jeanne Graverol, etc.
From 1962 to 1990, more solo exhibitions (or duo shows* with Rikki) were held in private and public galleries in Paris*, Brussels*, New York, Woodstock, Hamilton*, Toronto*, Hanover*,etc. Numerous group shows on both sides of the Atlantic, notably with the Chicago Surrealist Movement after 1967, then with the Parisian PHASES Movement in Algiers, Arras, Berlin, Bratislava, Brno, Brussels, Chicago, Coimbra, Constantine, Hanover, Lagoa, Lille, Lima, Lisbon, London, Mayenne, Mexico, Montreal, Paris, Philadelphia, St Brieuc, Santiago de Compostela, Stockholm, Tours, Varsaw, etc.
